The campaign aims to strengthen diversity, freedom and community, to promote civic participation and to make democracy more resilient. It stands for a strong Europe and against forgetting, hatred, violence and racism.
Above all, young people and young adults should experience the values of an open society instead of being lectured about them. The campaign is non-partisan and opens up spaces for shared experiences.

Most campaign performances are closed events for schools from year 8, police academies and German armed forces sites. In addition there are special events in state parliaments, museums and at ceremonies, as well as public performances, in Germany and abroad.
